Masters of Reality

This is an unprecedented age in America for a plethora of reasons, the most significant of which is the all-consuming influence wielded by our national media. The American press core and journalism have always been shady and biased. Since the days of the young Ben Frankin, a colonial Casanova in the making, the press has been slinging out salacious propaganda to sway public opinion.
Unlike the contemporary, like-minded, agenda-driven media, Americans were bombarded from all angles, and we pieced together the truth between the lines. In 2022, the press is hardly a purveyor of information, it’s more appropriately categorized as a ministry of propaganda. A decade ago, they were a one-sided affair selling us bullshit instead of truth. More recently, they have served as masters of reality
In the not-so-distant past, the media were just hucksters, smarmy snake oil salesmen, and in 2022 they are a voracious beast with sinister intentions. We don’t have to look any further than the last Presidential election, forget the steal! The media unabashedly immersed itself in a massive election interference campaign to defame and stigmatize Donald Trump, every major media outlet mercilessly bashed Trump. Unsubstantiated lies and even felonious accusations of a sitting President permeated the news on a 24-hour loop without a single positive word save for FOX, the controlled opposition.
Simply choosing not to agree with the national press can be perilous, this is no more extended information, but a toxic reality that’s been forced upon us by an agenda-driven media. We are lost if we learn to process this contaminated sewage that has been piped into our homes, applying objective reasoning and truth. They will continue to inform us of our reality, and our world will become bleaker.
